Board partners report GeForce RTX 4060 Ti GPUs are experiencing supply issues

RTX 4060 Ti in short supply

According to Board Channels, the site aggregating news and whispers from board partner sources, the supply of AD106-based GPUs has decreased significantly.

Overall, the supply of RTX 40 GPUs is not as good as partners expect, but one model is experiencing even less supply than others. The RTX 4060 Ti, both 8GB and 16GB versions, is experiencing a substantial decrease in supply in the first two weeks of April.

It is reported that the distribution of RTX 4060 Ti models has decreased to a few dozen – 50 pieces per shipment. Apparently, each brand is affected, and allocation has significantly decreased for companies like Colorful or board partners based in Taiwan (ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte).

Our sources from AICs confirm the reduced supply of RTX 4060 Ti models. However, it’s unlikely to have a significant impact on the global availability of the series. Many RTX 40 cards have faced similar supply hurdles, the RTX 4090 being the best example, which did impact global availability and pricing in the end. Despite discontinuation, other models like the RTX 4070 Ti or RTX 4080 remain available to this day.

The RTX 4060 Ti remains one of the most popular NVIDIA GPUs in this generation; however, retailers had no issue lowering the price for the SKU relatively early. Both models are currently selling for less than official MSRP.
