AMD preparing for Ryzen 9000, X3D discounts

The flagship X3D model now available for $577.

AMD has dropped the price of its flagship Ryzen 9 7950X3D processor to $577, marking the lowest price in recent weeks. This processor, which debuted on February 28 last year, boasts 16 Zen4 cores that can reach speeds of up to 5.7 GHz. It’s packed with 3D V-Cache technology and offers a total of 128MB of L3 Cache.

Although the launch price last year was $699 and there hasn’t been an official discount, the processor has consistently hovered around the $600 mark since its release. While there were better deals, particularly during Black Friday sales, this $577 price point is the lowest it has been since late March.

It is believed that the prices of AMD Ryzen 7000 and 7000X3D will only continue to decrease due to the imminent announcement of the Ryzen 9000 series expected at Computex in just one month. While no one should expect Zen5 to hit the market immediately, those considering updates will now be waiting for the product upgrade or, alternatively, lower prices for older generation processors.
