Acemagic unveils M2A starship Mini-PC
The company has announced ‘the world’s first AAA Sci-Fi Games Mini-PC’.
The M2A Starship is a high-end gaming Mini-PC with a very unusual design. Whether such a system qualifies as a Mini-PC is up for debate, as it’s certainly not very portable with its two wings, reminiscent of a starship.
These wings conceal two fans on each side, which complement the two fans already present in the main body of the device. According to the company, this setup means the system is cooled by four fans and 7 copper tubes.
Such a robust cooling system is necessary to manage the heat generated by the main components, especially since the system features a discrete GPU. While the company hasn’t disclosed the specific hardware used in this device, a teaser image suggests the GPU operates at 45W, which is relatively low for a discrete GPU.

Speaking of cool features, this Mini-PC reportedly includes a dedicated display that will provide real-time information about the GPU and CPU. This isn’t the first product from this company to feature such a screen.
While the product page doesn’t specify a release date yet, the company is offering up to a 40% discount during the early phase of the crowdfunding campaign. As always, we advise against participating in hardware preorders before they undergo independent testing.
