XFX Radeon RX 7900 XTX “Phoenix Nirvana” teaser reveals three fan design

Brand-new Radeon RX 7900 XTX teased by XFX

XFX reveals new teaser of the new Phoenix Nirvana GPU.

XFX is about to launch its new graphics card called Phoenix Nirvana . This model is based on the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX flagship RDNA3 GPU, and it will seemingly be released in China initially.

This new model is clearly meant to be a high-end version, featuring a massive cooling design measuring 34 cm and nearly 4 slots. Thanks to the new teaser image that was posted ahead of the product launch, the card is now confirmed to have a triple-fan design.

XFX has decided to equip the card with a large heatsink featuring eight 6mm heat pipes. It uses a large vapor chamber that will cover the GPU and memory, but more importantly, the company is using a new material as a contact between the cooler and the GPU.

The Phoenix Nirvana is one of the first cards to feature highly conductive Phase Change Material (PCM) from Honeywell. These pads can be used for GPUs, CPUs, and APUs, and have been tested to show great results in comparison to conventional thermal paste. XFX, a company that has had some trouble with their cooling design in the past, clearly wanted to step up the game by releasing a much higher-end design with better cooling.

The RX 7900 XTX Nirvana is said to feature a clock speed of 2615 MHz, the same as the MERC 310 already available on the market. Officially, the card will launch tomorrow, and it will be available for preorder through the official store on the Chinese JD platform at around 1090 USD.
