Intel’s Lunar Lake marketing presentation arrives on the same day as competitor Qualcomm is sharing new details on the Snapdragon X Series. Several new laptop designs from ASUS, Dell, HP, and others featuring the latest Snapdragon CPUs are expected to be unveiled today following the Microsoft AI event.

Intel’s marketing materials are directly comparing their CPUs to Qualcomm’s, highlighting significant performance gains. They claim Lunar Lake will deliver 1.4x higher AI performance in Stable Diffusion 1.5 compared to the Snapdragon X Elite, a 1.5x improvement over Meteor Lake for graphics, and faster core performance than both the AMD Ryzen 7 8840U and Snapdragon X Elite. The Core Ultra 200V series are also expected to deliver 30% and 20% lower package power than Ryzen 7 7840U and Qualcomm 8cx Gen3 in Microsoft Teams Conferencing.
