Crown Jewel Design, soon available through G.SKILL Royal memory series
It has been almost a year since G.SKILL announced new Royal memory, but the wait is almost over.

The Trident Z Royal memory, based on the DDR4 standard, debuted in June 2021. This high-speed, low-latency memory features a distinctive shiny design, reflecting the company’s efforts to create a luxurious appearance. The memory includes a patented crystalline light bar that enhances RGB lighting effects.
Available in silver or gold, the same color options will be offered for its successor, the Trident Z5 Royal , which is based on DDR5 technology. Announced at Computex in June 2023, the company has been silent about potential launch details since then.
Turns out, G.SKILL have just posted a teaser indicating that the Trident Z5 Royal is “coming soon.” This announcement aligns with the upcoming Computex show, suggesting that the memory might be showcased in its final form at the expo in just two weeks.

The company has not yet disclosed the capacities, memory timings, or speeds for the new Trident Z5 Royal memory. Pricing details are also unavailable at this time. However, considering the recent price trends for DDR5 memory since the announcement of the new Royal series, it is likely that the new Trident Z5 Royal memory will be more affordable than initially anticipated a year ago.
