AMD X3D CPUs getting price cuts
AMD clearly preparing for the announcement of Ryzen 9000 series.
Retailers are offering the flagship AMD desktop CPU, the Ryzen 9 7950X3D, at its lowest price in months. This high-end 16-core Zen 4 processor, equipped with 64MB of 3D V-Cache, combines the benefits of enhanced gaming performance thanks to the larger cache, without sacrificing multi-core speeds. Originally debuting at $699 last year, it is now available for $553.99 on Amazon. Historically, this price point has been reached only twice and for very short periods.
This deal is likely due to the impending announcement of the Ryzen 9000 series , which includes a new 16-core Zen 5 variant, possibly called the 9950X. However, there is no information about an X3D version of the new series coming anytime soon.
