Updated handheld to feature 24GB LPDDR5X-7500 memory
ASUS ROG Ally X preparing for launch.

A new leak has confirmed details on ASUS’s upcoming ROG Ally X gaming handheld. This device, expected to launch next week, features updated memory and battery, key improvements over its predecessor.
The marketing materials, released by LipLeg , refer to the device as ROG Ally 2 instead of X. Despite this discrepancy, the specifications, and features match those of the ROG Ally X. The new console is shown in multiple renders, sadly in a bit of low resolution

The device retains the Ryzen Z1 Extreme APU and a 7-inch 120 Hz display. However, it now comes with a significant memory upgrade to 24GB of LPDDR5X, confirmed at 7500 MT/s.
The leak mentions a weight of 670g, slightly less than the 678g previously reported, but this is a minor difference. While the 80Wh battery capacity is not confirmed in the new materials, they do verify the inclusion of a 1TB M.2 2280 SSD by default.
