ZOTAC to launch its first gaming handheld
The device is confirmed to feature AMOLED display.

ZOTAC has announced a new gaming handheld, the ZONE , to be fully showcased at Computex. While the company hasn’t provided many details, they have confirmed that it will feature a 7-inch AMOLED display . This makes it one of the few handhelds with such a screen, joining the ranks of the Switch and Steam Deck, and setting it apart from other premium models like the ROG Ally, Legion Go, and MSI Claw, which do not have OLED screens.
The ZONE will also have 2-stage adjustable triggers. The backside of the device is uniquely designed with an RGB LED strip and additional buttons, showcasing ZOTAC’s own design approach. The front of the handheld resembles other devices on the market. More details are expected to be revealed as the launch approaches.
“Ever since the establishment of the ZOTAC GAMING brand, we have strived to provide an unmatched gaming experience for enthusiasts worldwide. We have made considerable efforts to raise the bar with our debut handheld, tailor-made with competitive features for all gamers.”
— Said Tony Wong, Chief Executive Officer of ZOTAC
ZOTAC plans to showcase “functional prototypes” of the ZONE at Computex, indicating that the product is not yet ready for launch. While specific details are sparse, it seems likely that ZOTAC may be focusing on Intel hardware given how many Mini-PC based on this vendor the company already has.
This could mean the device will feature either Core Ultra 100 or 200 series processors, especially since Intel is expected to provide updates on the Lunar Lake architecture at Computex. More information will likely emerge during the event, offering a clearer picture of what the ZONE will bring to the gaming handheld market.
