The flagship AMD CPU is now available for less than $500.
The upcoming launch of Ryzen 9000 series pushes 7000 series into lower pricing.
Just 10 days ago, we reported that the Ryzen 9 7950X3D was available for $554. Today, we can inform our readers that the same CPU has hit its lowest price yet: $499. That’s a $200 discount since its release last year.
The AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D is a flagship processor for the AM5 socket, at least until the release of the Ryzen 9000 next month. As expected, the current generation of 7000 and 7000X3D SKUs has seen a quick price adjustment, which has happened today.
The first CPU to see a major discount is the 16-core version featuring 3D V-Cache on one of the Zen4 chiplets. This CPU combines the benefits of a high-core count and the speed of an extra 64MB cache for gaming.

The AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D has been discounted through two major US retailers, indicating that this is not an isolated promotion but a planned price cut for this model. No coupon codes are involved, so this could be the new MSRP for the CPU that debuted in February 2023 at $699.
The 8-core Zen4 CPU with 3D V-Cache, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, is also seeing its lowest price of $339.99. While this is a smaller adjustment compared to the 16-core version, it is still notably lower than it was just a few weeks ago.
Alternatively, there are non-X3D variants available at $486 (Ryzen 9 7950X) or $276 (Ryzen 7 7700X).
