At Computex, Mini Maker has revealed its new slim Mini-PC design. It’s a 214×36×180mm chassis of 1.4-liter capacity that features a distinctive translucent case. There, users can see a large blower fan attached to the CPU.
The extraordinary design is just one of the things that make this system stand out. Another feature is a B760 chipset motherboard equipped with a desktop LGA1700 socket , allowing users to equip the Mini X with 14th Gen Core CPUs, as long as they are 65W TDP.

As noticed by Tom’s Hardware, who took some real-world photos, the PC is actually smaller than ASUS ROG NUC, a gaming-oriented Mini-PC with dedicated RTX 4070 graphics. The Mini-X doesn’t have discrete graphics though, so it is meant to compete with that product specifically.
Instead, Mini Maker is offering a custom GPU dock with a large translucent window. This product is called Mini Maker StreamPlay X External Graphics Box, and it will use Thunderbolt 4 for connection. In terms of specs, users will be able to pick Core i5-14400 or Core i7-14700 systems and will also have a choice between DDR4 and DDR5 versions.

This product doesn’t have a release date yet, and it is seemingly heading for release in China and Taiwan initially. The company that owns the brand is now looking for partners in other regions that would like to distribute this product on their own.
The interesting detail is that the Mini-PC without the memory, storage, or CPU is expected to cost just $150. The GPU Dock is also expected to retail at just $150, so both products would only cost $300.
