AMD late Tuesday released the latest version of its Chipset Software. This is an important piece of software that, besides providing drivers for the various onboard SoC interfaces of the processor and chipset, provides your Windows operating system with software-side processor power-management (PPM) awareness. Version 6.05.28.016 is the latest version of it, supporting AMD 300-series, 400-series, 500-series, and 600-series chipsets. The company is yet to provide us with a change-log for the drivers, we'll update this story as soon as we have them. The change-log link on their website goes to a 404 not-found error.
