Further price cut for AMD (still) flagship AM5 processor
Before the Ryzen 9000 launches, AMD is lowering the price of its 16-core CPU with 3D V-Cache.

AMD is about to launch its new generation of AM5 processors featuring the updated Zen5 architecture. However, the company has already confirmed that their existing X3D series will be just as good for gaming. Gamers should consider the 7800X3D, which is now offered at a record low price of $340.
AMD is also lowering the price for its flagship 16-core variant, which has dropped over $60 in retail value in just two weeks. The CPU was discounted from over $550 in May to below $500 last week. Now, the same CPU is available for just $487.
The price has just been lowered to $492, but thanks to Newegg’s new promotion that takes a further $5 off, you can now get this processor for $486.82. This is the same price as the Ryzen 9 7950X elsewhere, so you can get 3D V-Cache at the same price ‘for free’.
