The blower-style RTX 4090D and Radeon update two years behind schedule
AFOX slow with updates but they are finally here.

AFOX, once a popular brand of graphics cards, now has limited operations. The company now primarily targets Asian regions and system integrators who use their GPUs for various systems, including gaming or workstations. The newest model definitely doesn’t seem like a gaming GPU at all; in fact, its design is typically associated with compute farms.
AFOX is introducing the GeForce RTX 4090D, a special Chinese version of the flagship NVIDIA GPU with reduced specs to comply with U.S. export restrictions. These restrictions specifically aim to limit Chinese efforts in machine learning compute capability, and the RTX 4090, featuring the high-end AD102 GPU, was exceeding the performance threshold set by the U.S. government.

The RTX 4090D has the same GPU but with fewer enabled cores (14592 vs. 16384) and retains the same memory configuration of 24GB GDDR6X, with a slightly reduced power requirement of 425W. The D-variant features the same design as the existing RTX 4090 model : a dual-slot design with a single fan and blower-style cooler. The card is powered by a single 16-pin power connector located at the rear, making cable management much easier once the card is deployed in a cluster.
Additionally, AFOX is launching three Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs, specifically the RX 6750 XT and RX 6650 XT models. These 6X50 models were first released by AMD in May 2022, marking this update just over two years after initial launch. In total, there are three cards, with two featuring the familiar pixelated design seen previously from the Chinese brand Peland (formerly Pradeon). This design will be used for both Radeon SKUs, each equipped with a 2.5-slot cooler housing three fans and requiring a single 8-pin power connector. There are no factory-overclocked versions available for these models.

The third card is a dual-fan design based on the RX 6650 XT. It includes a custom backplate and a metal frame surrounding the GPU. There is a “Thunderbolt” on the backplate located directly behind the GPU.

AFOX did provide a press release confirming the introduction of all four cards this week; however, details regarding pricing and availability dates were not included.
