Qualcomm Adreno GPU driver files confirm unannounced Snapdragon X SKUs

Snapdragon X Series has 10 different SKUs

Adreno GPU driver files confirm new Snapdragon processors.

The reviews published two days ago were few in number and primarily focused on one SKU, featured in the ASUS Vivobook S 15 laptop. The flagship Snapdragon X SKU is currently limited to Samsung Book 4 laptops, which are not available everywhere, and the company did not seem bothered to send any review samples on time.

Regardless of what laptop makers have planned, we know that there are far more Qualcomm processors already confirmed by the company itself. It turns out the company also confirmed four other SKUs through the driver files available on the systems already.

If you go through the Adreno GPU driver files, you may stumble upon a file that lists not 5 but 10 different Snapdragon X SKUs. It’s worth noting that some may never see the light of day, but the fact that Qualcomm has more than just 5 models planned is now confirmed.

The company has thus far only mentioned one X Plus processor, but it appears that there are at least five planned (as shown above as the X1P variant and one that was revealed previously). The list confirms 62100, 42100 and 40100 SKUs for the 10-core X Plus series, as well as 76100 for the X Elite. If we combined this with previously leaked data, it indicates that there are at least 10 SKUs.

Assuming that Qualcomm’s slides from the X Plus presentation hold true for these SKUs, they should all be 10-core variants. The most obvious difference will lie in the boost frequencies, which are not listed in the files. Whether one will ever see all 10 SKUs in an actual product is something no one knows at this point.
