AMD graphics cards getting cheaper
ASRock has a deal on RX 7900 GRE.
We are just a few weeks away from the first anniversary of the Radeon RX 7900 GRE. Initially launched exclusively in China, it took AMD another five months to bring this special version to the international market.
Over time, AMD released the RX 7800 XT, RX 7700 XT, and RX 7600 XT models, filling gaps in the RDNA3 lineup and effectively lowering prices. At its global launch, the RX 7900 GRE saw a price cut from $649 to $549, but this price didn’t last long.
Currently, this Navi-31-based model is listed at $529.99, but Newegg has a promo that takes $10 off this price. This means the RX 7900 GRE is now available for $519.99 , which is the lowest price yet for this graphics card.

The RX 7900 GRE is equipped with 5120 Stream Processors, which is 33% more than the RX 7800 XT. However, due to limited power consumption (slightly lower than 7800 XT) the card isn’t that much faster in gaming. Still, it serves as an interesting option, especially after AMD unlocked its overclocking potential .
