Colorful is expanding its lineup with four new AD102-based models, bringing the total to six, the largest among any board partners so far. The naming convention is somewhat confusing as there are now three variants of essentially the same cards. However, one model stands out with its larger RTX 4090 cooler design.
In this update, Colorful introduced two variants: V2 and V3. The V2 uses the larger RTX 4090 cooler design but features cut-down GPU specs and memory. The V3 uses the AD103 board and cooler design but is equipped with the larger AD102 GPU. Finally, the original model (V1 or without a version) is the AD103-based model released in January.

To give you an idea of how many RTX 4070 Ti SUPER models are available from one company alone, we’ve gathered all Colorful models from our database. Colorful offers a total of 20 models: 6 based on AD102 and 14 using the original AD103 specs.
The good news is that Colorful primarily sells GPUs in select Asian countries, so encountering these confusing versions elsewhere is unlikely. This situation highlights why NVIDIA restricts partners from mixing GPUs in this manner, especially in regions with stronger consumer protection laws that require clear communication for any spec changes. Interestingly, NVIDIA has not officially announced the AD102-based RTX 4070 Ti SUPER; this information comes from board partner pages.
