ASUS 2024 Next-Gen AI PC event on July 17
ASUS announced today that the dedicated launch event for the company’s next-gen laptops powered by AMD hardware has been pushed back.
The event, originally scheduled for July 8, has been moved to July 17. It will highlight Ryzen AI 300 laptops, particularly thin and light models without discrete graphics, including Zenbook and Vivobook laptops.
ASUS has announced the ProArt PX13 laptop, a 13.3-inch device featuring a 3K OLED display with a 360-degree hinge. This laptop can also function as a tablet, supporting touch input and a stylus. Despite its compact size and weight (only 1.4 kg), it supports the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 SKU, with an option for the Ryzen AI 9 365 version. Interestingly, also includes discrete graphics (up to RTX 4070). The system utilizes LPDDR5X memory (up to 32GB) and supports WiFi 7 and USB4.

Additionally, there is a 16-inch version with the same APU and GPU specifications. This model supports up to 64GB of LPDDR5X memory and 4TB of storage capacity (compared to the PX13’s 2TB). It weighs 1.85 kg and features a 16:10 4K OLED display, aimed at content creation and video encoding tasks.
ASUS also preps Zenbook and Vivobook laptops, as well as TUF Gaming and ROG Zephyrus systems. The company will offer various sizes ranging from 13.3 to 16.0 inch screens featuring “IPS-Level” and OLED panels up to 240Hz. In terms of memory there will be 8GB, 16GB, 24GB and 32GB variants.
