Gigabyte’s RTX 4070 Ti Super WindForce Max lands in Germany
The RTX 4070 Ti SUPER with non-standard GPU.

NVIDIA has quietly started shipping a new processor, the AD102-225, which matches the specifications of the AD103-275. This new GPU is used for the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, but only for some models that were announced recently.
The first model to appear with AD102 GPU was the Gigabyte’s RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Windforce MAX. This graphics card uses a cooler from the RTX 4090 model and features the same GPU, but it is significantly reduced to 8,448 CUDA cores. This means 9,728 CUDA cores are disabled compared to the RTX 6000 ADA, which features the most powerful version of this GPU.

Graphics cards with non-standard GPUs are typically limited to certain regions, most often appearing in the Chinese market. In Europe, stricter consumer laws generally prevent companies from introducing these cards to the region. Also, these cards are usually limited in number, so it doesn’t make sense to introduce new ones elsewhere.
However, one of the first such cards has now been listed as available in Germany:

The card is listed without a picture, but the product code matches the one on the Gigabyte website. This interesting find by ComputerBase suggests that AD102-225 powered cards may not be limited to the Asian region. While this card currently serves as the only exception, it suggests that other models featuring non-standard GPUs might also be introduced to Europe.
