Xyber XPC looks like Cybertruck, but it is actually a PC
A bit smaller than original.

The Cybertruck-themed Mini-PC showcased at Computex is becoming a reality. The company has launched an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign, but the price remains undisclosed.
The company has confirmed that the system will be powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS APU , a Zen 4 processor with RDNA 3 graphics. The company also confirmed it will be available with Ryzen 7 7840HS , both are the same APUs, but the 8845H has a 60% faster XDNA processor. It will support up to 64GB of DDR5 memory and up to 4TB of SSD storage through PCIe 4.0×4 M.2 2280.

The XPC has all doors, bonnet, and trunk opening like a real car. In fact, even the front headlight is a real LED light that will supposedly indicate if the system is running. The company announced that the XPC will support the following I/O ports:
- 1 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 port (Type A)
- 2 x Full function PD3.0 Type-C (USB3.1 GEN1)
- 1 x HDMI 2.1 output
- 1 x 2-in-1 Audio Jack (Headphone / Mic)
- 1 x 5*2.5mm DC-in jack
- Up to 4TB 2280 PCIe 4.0×4 (1x)
- WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2
The original Cybertruck hasn’t been a commercial success, plagued with quality issues, including problems with the original wheel caps also present on this unit. Hopefully, the Mini-PC version will be more successful and cost less than $100K.
Update : the company has provided pictures from the assembly line. We can see the PC uses a dual-fan cooling solution, SO-DIMM upgradable memory and has at least two M.2 slots (one for storage and one for Wi-Fi card.

The company is currently working on BIOS optimizations. However there’s no release date or pricing information available. But regardless of the product’s appeal, we strongly advise against participating in this crowdfunding campaign. The company mentions review units, but it’s unclear when they will be available or if they will appear before funds are collected.
Also, don’t forget to install Handbrake; otherwise, the PC may autonomously drive off the shelf.
