ASRock launches Arc A770/A750 Challenger SE graphics cards

ASRock ARC Challenger Second Edition

With no Battlemage in sight, ASRock updates the existing Alchemist lineup.

ASRock has introduced a new series within its Arc Alchemist lineup. The company is among the few multi-vendor graphics card makers with an extensive list of Intel Arc-based solutions. The latest update focuses on the flagship Arc A770 and Arc A750 models.

The new series is simply called Challenger SE, following last year’s release of Challenger models. The Second Edition series features a new cooler design and now has LED lighting around the fans, which can be disabled.

The GPU specs remain unchanged. The A770 has a 16GB VRAM capacity (Intel and board partners are no longer making the 8GB version), while the A750 uses 8GB of GDDR6 memory. Both models are overclocked to 2.15 GHz and 2.2 GHz respectively, which is slightly higher than Intel’s reference clock of 2.1 GHz and 2.05 GHz.

ASRock has confirmed that these new cards will start shipping by mid-July, and they should become available in countries like Japan on July 12. The company has set the prices at 52.8K yen (approximately $370 USD) for the A770 Challenger SE and 37.8K yen (approximately $265 USD) for the A750 Challenger SE.
