Pocket-sized foldable keyboard is a full PC equipped with AMD Ryzen 7 8840U

Ling Long is a foldable keyboard with AMD Ryzen APU that fits into a pocket

Now, that’s something innovative.

Think of an Atari, but significantly faster, much slimmer, and portable. The Ling Long foldable keyboard is an interesting product—a portable mini-PC embedded into a keyboard chassis. One side houses the battery, while the other contains a full motherboard with the APU, memory, storage, and cooling system. When folded, it can fit into a back pocket.

The Ling Long keyboard is powered by the popular AMD Ryzen 7 8840U, an eight-core Zen 4 processor with Radeon 780M graphics. This gives it nearly the same specs as the ROG Ally X and allows it to operate in 30W mode while maintaining proper heat dissipation, keeping the right side (where the motherboard is hidden) below 42°C.

This keyboard-turned-PC includes all the essential connectors: USB4, USB 3.1 Type-A, and USB 3.1, along with WiFi 6 connectivity. The 60Wh battery provides up to 10 hours of office use, 6 hours of entertainment, or 4 hours of gaming. It comes with a 100W GaN charger that can also power other devices. Users can choose between 16GB and 32GB DDR5 memory configurations and 512GB or 1TB storage options.

This device targets a niche market, particularly office workers who typically carry laptops to and from work. Instead of a laptop, they can use this compact keyboard, which measures only 150x100mm and weighs 800g. The built-in battery offers some emergency power if needed.
