NUC 14 PRO+ with Meteor Lake
ASUS launches new NUC series.
ASUS has introduced the NUC 14 Pro, an updated version of the NUC 14 Pro. These are the spiritual successors to Intel’s main NUC line of Mini-PCs, but this generation is now entirely of ASUS design. This also means that ASUS is departing from the 4×4 inch chassis to a 5×4 inch design.
As a reminder, ASUS currently has four products in the NUC series, all of which are based on the Meteor Lake (Core Ultra 100H) series:

The ASUS NUC 14 Pro+ is equipped with a choice of Intel Core Ultra processors, including the Ultra 9 185H, Ultra 7 165H vPro, Ultra 7 155H, Ultra 5 135H, and Ultra 5 125H. Thus, the 14 Pro+ offers up to the Core Ultra 9 SKU, which is the only SKU in the lineup using higher TDP by default.
It is available in only one chassis design measuring 144x112x41 mm, while the original 14 Pro came in two versions: 117x112x54 mm (tall) and 117x112x37 mm (slim). The former has room for a 2.5″ drive, which is not available on the 14 Pro+. In terms of storage, the NUC 14 Pro+ features one M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe SSD slot and one M.2 2242 PCIe x4 NVMe SSD slot.

Connectivity options include integrated WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. The LAN is supported by a single Intel I226V 2.5G port. The front (side) I/O ports of the NUC 14 Pro+ include one USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C (20 Gbps) port and two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports. The back I/O ports feature two Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, one USB 2.0 Type-A port, two HDMI 2.1 (TMDS) ports, an RJ45 LAN port, a DC-in port, and a Kensington Lock slot.
The power supply for the NUC 14 Pro+ includes a 150W adapter for the U9 model and a 120W adapter for the U5/U7 models. Pricing starts at €646 which is the barebone model featuring Core Ultra 5 125H, no memory and storage. The most expensive one costs €1391 and has the flagship Meteor Lake CPU, 1TB of storage and 32GB of DDR5-5600 memory.
