Emerging from Frost: RX 7700 XT PURE Frostpunk 2 Edition

The graphics card is now available through select retailers.

First announced in May, the new Sapphire Radeon graphics card is now available. This model is based on the RX 7700XT PURE version and features a custom design inspired by the aesthetics of the game Frostpunk 2.

This special edition graphics card has a frosty-white fan shroud and an oil-black metal backplate with rusty speckles. To make the card stand out, Sapphire added a special ARGB logo illuminated in yellow, matching Frostpunk’s theme. The card comes in custom packaging and includes an exclusive bundle.

The RX 7700 XT PURE Frostpunk2 Edition includes Frostpunk 2 Deluxe Edition , making it rare among game-themed GPUs that often don’t bundle the game (which is weird but quite common). Additionally, Sapphire provides three keycaps (F P 2) and three enamel pins as collectible items, though their practical use might be limited.

Under the hood, this model features the Navi 32 GPU with 3456 Stream Processors. It’s factory-overclocked to 2584 MHz (boost) and boasts 12GB of GDDR6 memory. The card offers a non-standard display outputs: two HDMI 2.1 ports and two DisplayPort 2.1 ports. The Total Board Power (TBP) is rated at 240W, slightly lower than AMD’s reference specification of 245W.

The card is currently available for sale at $449.99, but it can be purchased for $439 with a $10 off coupon on Newegg. While not the cheapest 7700 XT from Sapphire—that title goes to the PULSE model at $399—it offers a strong alternative to the original PURE, which is priced upwards of $500.
