AMD Ryzen 9000 at retailers already

If you’re planning to upgrade to the Ryzen 9000 series, rest assured stock is already arriving at retailers. One retailer has posted a picture confirming that the Ryzen 7 9700X has just arrived. The Redditor who shared the photos did not disclose further details, such as whether other SKUs arrived or when the sales embargo ends.
The Ryzen 7 9700X is an 8-core Zen5 processor with a boost clock of 5.5 GHz. AMD has confirmed that this processor might be slower than the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, which is AMD’s most popular gaming CPU equipped with 3D V-Cache. Some discussions suggested that AMD considered increasing the TDP for this part before launch, but with samples now in the hands of reviewers and retailers, this seems unlikely.
AMD has not yet officially confirmed the release date for the Ryzen 9000 series. Unofficial sources, including other retailers and people familiar with AMD’s plans, suggest it will be July 31. The company hasn’t announced pricing for its new Zen5-based series either, which remains one of the most discussed and anticipated topics.
