AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT now available for $649

Navi 31 XT at its lowest price yet.

ASRock, Sapphire, and XFX have reduced prices on their Radeon RX 7900 XT series graphics cards. The ASRock Phantom Gaming model is now priced at $649, marking its lowest price to date. Other models from Sapphire, ASRock, and XFX are also discounted to $660-$670, making them aa good alternative options as well.

The AMD RX 7900 XT features a cut-down Navi 31 XT GPU with 5,376 Stream Processors, 20GB of GDDR6 memory, and a power consumption of around 315W under full load. NVIDIA currently doesn’t offer a model with 16GB at this price and performance level; the 4060 Ti doesn’t match its performance tier.

The RX 7900 XT is now also a significantly better option compared to the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, which starts at $769. Both cards offer similar performance across many games, though the RTX GPU has an edge in ray-traced titles. Both cards have the same memory capacity.
