RTX 4070 reports its lowest price yet, RX 7900 GRE getting close
The battle in the $500 segment.

Two very different graphics card models have now joined forces in pricing. The RTX 4070, which initially launched at $599 and was succeeded by a SUPER variant with higher specs at the same price, is now available for $499 for the first time. Unlike the discontinued RTX 4070Ti and RTX 4080, the RTX 4070 remains in production, making this price cut an official reduction by a retailer and GPU vendors rather than a clearance sale.
On the other side, the Radeon RX 7900 GRE (Golden Rabbit Edition), which debuted in Asia last summer at $649, was later globally launched by AMD at $549. This re-launch occurred around the same time NVIDIA introduced the RTX 4070 SUPER, with the original RX 7900 GRE model receiving a price cut to $549.
