Onexplayer M1 is pocket-sized Intel Core Ultra 9 185H PC
No, you’re not having a déjà vu, and no, that’s not a portable graphics card. OneXplayer has launched the M1 Mini-PC, which looks strikingly similar to the eGPU they released several months ago.
To better understand the new M1 Mini-PC, we need to revisit the launch of ONEXGPU , One Netbook’s first external graphics card solution. The ONEXGPU features a compact, innovative design and supports OCuLink for high-performance PC-to-GPU connections. The reason for mentioning this is that the M1 and ONEXGPU share the same chassis, but their internals are completely different.
The ONEXGPU is just a discrete graphics card that requires a PC host and power to function. In contrast, the M1 is a fully-fledged PC powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor with integrated graphics. This means the M1 can operate independently without needing an external GPU. In other words, one does not need the external GPU for things like gaming, although for higher performance, the eGPU would still be faster.

The M1’s ultra-compact design measuring 200×120 mm which weighs only 559 grams (lighter than the GPU at 869 grams) and is pocket-friendly. It uses LPDDR5 memory up to 64GB capacity. Additionally, it includes one M.2 2280 SSD slot compatible with PCIe 4.0×4 specifications and an OCuLink connector.
