NVIDIA RTX 50 in 2025
Kopite7kimi shares disappointing prediction.

Shortly after Computex, journalists who attended the popular technology expo shared their insights from conversations with multiple board partners. However, unless they spoke with executives, this information is rarely accurate enough to provide a definite answer. Marketing personnel are usually less informed than engineering teams, who only share details once development stages are completed.
Nevertheless, by combining information from various sources, it has been determined that the AMD Radeon RX 8000 series, powered by RDNA4 architecture, and the Intel ARC B-Series, powered by Battlemage/Xe2-HPG, are definitely not coming this year. Furthermore, it is clear that NVIDIA is not rushing to launch the GeForce RTX 50 series, although the timing of the announcement remains uncertain.
Next-Gen GPU Series:
- Intel Arc B-Series Battlemage/Xe2-HPG ➡️ 2025
- AMD Radeon RX 8000 RDNA4 ➡️ Q1/Q2 2025
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Blackwell ➡️ CES 2025
Some rumors suggest that NVIDIA might announce the RTX 50 series by the end of this year, with the actual launch potentially happening in 2025. This would be consistent with NVIDIA’s strategy of separating announcements from product releases through multiple embargoes, including details on specifications, pricing disclosure, unboxings, reviews, and the final launch.
I think we won't see RTX 50 until CES.

According to Kopite7kimi, NVIDIA is not expected to unveil the new Blackwell Gaming GPUs before CES (January 7-10, 2025). While CES is typically associated with laptop updates and not new desktop GPUs, NVIDIA might break from tradition this time. Historically, discrete desktop RTX series were announced at separate events, but this may no longer be the case.
Of course, such claims should be taken with caution, although Kopite7kimi has a strong track record for accuracy. Release dates, specs, and pricing are subject to change, and they can change at any time.
The downside is that all upcoming discrete GPU architectures are now expected to launch in 2025. On the upside, this gives you more time to save for the new releases. Let’s hope the latter won’t be much of an issue.
