Radeon RX 7800/7700XT series in ‘just-black’ design
Dual-fan and 2.5-slot thick black GPU.

It has reached the point where a plain and simple graphics card design is newsworthy. With graphics card makers exploring every niche, color option, and lighting effect available, the new card from PowerColor and Kuroutoshikou is worth mentioning.
Those who are not familiar with Kurotoshiku, it’s a Japanese brand that operates as a semi-custom graphics card maker. They typically use TUL Corporation (PowerColor) designs for their Radeon series and GALAXY designs for their GeForce RTX series.

In short, both the PowerColor and Kurotoshiku cards feature identical designs, with the latter even displaying the PowerColor logo. All four cards we have today follow the same 2-fan design with a 2.5-slot thickness. Also, PowerColor also offers their 3-fan and dual-slot Fighter series, which have been the most affordable options to date. It seems the new design, which currently lacks a specific name, will be the new MSRP option.

Design aside, one should also note that none of these cards are factory-overclocked. The backplate is black, and even the I/O bracket is the same color, which is somewhat uncommon. However, it’s worth noting that PowerColor does the same with its Hellhound series, which is available in a white color scheme.
