Say Hi to GT Cube from WIKA (Huawei)
Huawei has launched its first external GPU solution based on the Radeon RX 7600M XT graphics card.
The new external graphics card, named the WIKA Hi GT Cube, is available in China. This product comes from the French brand WIKO, which licenses Huawei smartphones and now seems to be expanding into other hardware sales in China. While the company primarily specializes in phones and chargers, this is its first move into external GPU solutions.
The Hi GT Cube looks just like a larger charger, with dimensions of 139x119x41 mm , making it just slightly larger than a standard 4×4 inch Mini-PC. It functions not only as a graphics card but also as a 100W laptop charger. Although the device has a 240W charging capacity , most of this power is allocated to the integrated graphics card. The exact power consumption of the GPU alone is not specified, but it typically ranges from 100 to 120W, similar to competing products.

This GPU relies on Radeon RX 7600M XT , which is the most popular (and the only) AMD SKU used for external graphics card solutions. It uses Navi 33 GPU with 2048 Stream Processors and has 8GB GDDR6 memory attached to a 128-bit bus.
The expansion ports department is where Hi GT Cube fails to impress. There are no additional USB ports or built-in storage, which are commonly offered by competitors. The device also misses out on OCuLink , relying solely on USB4 for external GPU connection, with Thunderbolt support mentioned but not clearly confirmed.
The Hi GT Cube is primarily marketed as an accessory for the newly announced Huawei MateBook GT 14, which features the Core Ultra 9 185H. Since Intel Arc GPUs are not popular for external GPU solutions, users will need to install two drivers.
The WIKO/Huawei GT Cube is priced at 3999 RMB (around $552), making it slightly cheaper than competing solutions. However, due to the lack of additional features, gamers might prefer more capable options.
