Intel Xeon 6 “Granite Rapids” leak shows up to 504MB memory
The new series are to feature up to 128 cores.

The Xeon 6 family will be Intel’s first to feature the new naming schema and it will span across two product series: Sierra Forest and Granite Rapids. Sierra Forest will be Intel’s first architecture to feature only Efficient cores, increasing the core count up to 288. Granite Rapids will use Performance cores and support hyperthreading. However, this is likely the last architecture to support hyperthreading, as Lunar Lake and Arrow Lake’s newer core designs no longer use this technology. Meanwhile, Granite Rapids uses Redwood Cove, the same core featured in Meteor Lake.
New specs fill some gaps in previously leaked information, and a new SKU is mentioned. However, Jaykihn’s list is still incomplete. It confirms that the flagship SKU is Xeon 6 6980P , featuring 128 cores, 504MB LLC (Last Level Cache/L3 Cache), and a base frequency of 2.0 GHz. Previous rumors suggested it will boost up to 3.2 GHz, with a reported 500W TDP.
The new Xeon 6 series will include 32, 44, 56, 72, 96, 120, and 128 core SKUs, although only the 72+ variants are leaked in detail. Also, there’s a new SKU called Xeon 6 6952P , reportedly a 400W model with 480MB cache.

According to the leaks, the Xeon 6 series will support two sockets: LGA-4710 and LGA-7529, both allowing for dual-socket configurations. This means a single platform could support up to 2x 288 cores with Sierra Forest or 2x 128 cores with Granite Rapids. LGA-4710 is said to support up to 350W TDP SKUs and 16-channel memory, whereas LGA-7529 is expected to support 12-channel memory and 500W TDP.
Intel has announced that the Xeon 6 series will debut this year, with the Sierra Forest lineup launching somwhere in the second half of the year, followed shortly by Granite Rapids.
