ASUS teases Radeon RX 7000 “Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2”-themed graphics card

ASUS is teasing a new model based on its TUF Gaming series. This graphics card is said to use a Radeon GPU, but the company is not confirming which SKU specifically. This special edition graphics card is themed after Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, a new game that is set to launch in September.

ASUS has collaborated with Focus Entertainment and the company says that Warhammer 40,000 is ‘an amazing IP’ for them and they wanted to create something special. The new custom graphics card seems to be a perfect candidate for this occasion.

As a special tribute to the gaming community, ASUS and AMD have worked closely with Focus Entertainment, the publisher of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, for an exciting collaboration. The Warhammer 40,000 universe has rich symbolism and iconography, and fusing that together with world-class ASUS designers allowed us to create a limited-edition graphics card designed around the iconic character Demetrian Titus, the hero of both Space Marine games.

The company is running a giveaway right before its ROG Press Event at Gamescom 2024, set for August 20. At least one of the cards will be given away during an AMD event on August 23rd.

AMD has a history of launching custom graphics cards based on games that they have strong collaborations with. There was a special edition for Starfield and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, both of which were based on the RX 7900 XTX design. However, in this case, it looks like ASUS took it upon themselves to customize one of their variants instead.
