Intel Arc A760A for automotive industry brings ray tracing to car cockpits
Next-generation experience and AI cockpits.

Intel has announced that a 225-watt discrete GPU based on its Alchemist architecture will now be offered to the automotive industry. Intel is bringing its ACM-G10 variant for the next-generation cockpit. The announcement was made today at the AI Cockpit Innovation Experience event in China.
The GPU’s capabilities will focus on AI-enhanced experiences. Intel states that by adding Arc to their cars, they will offer an open and flexible platform that enables a “next-level, high-fidelity experience to the vehicle.”
According to Intel, the company’s SDV (Software Defined Vehicles) platform will allow car makers to use a single hardware platform across many vehicles, various trims, and mid to high-end models, all supported by the same Arc GPU.

The new discrete graphics card, named “ Arc Graphics for Automotive – A760A, ” features 28 Xe-Cores, 28 ray tracing units, and up to 448 XMX/Vector Engines. It includes 16GB of 256-bit memory and uses a PCIe 4.0×16 interface. The GPU offers up to 14 single-precision teraflops, with a boost clock of around 1953 MHz, slightly lower than the Arc A750’s 2.05 GHz. For AI inference, it delivers up to 229 TOPS.
According to Intel, the A760A will enable AAA gaming and AI PC applications to run simultaneously. It will support AI car assistants using large language models and will enhance user interfaces with 3D rendering, supporting up to six camera inputs.
Intel confirms that the GPU will require up to 225 watts under load. It can be physically connected to four displays and supports decoding and encoding in several video formats, including HEVC, VP9, and AV1.
The A760A will be available in Q1 2025 . No announcements have been made regarding which automakers will use this chip.
