Intel to share more on Arrow Lake late this year

Intel provided a brief statement to OC3D in response to the news about the postponement of the Innovation 2024 event. Questions were raised about how this delay will affect the launch of the Arrow Lake, which was expected to take place at this event.
The important detail is that Intel never confirmed an exact release date for Arrow Lake, only stating that it would launch in 2024. The most recent update was from Computex, where Intel shared details about Lunar Lake. The company has only reiterated its plan to launch Arrow Lake this year (it’s in the slide below).
Now that Innovation has been postponed, OC3D reached out to Intel for clarification on what this means for the supposed Arrow Lake launch. The company responded that there are no changes to the launch plans, and there are significant announcements to be expected this fall.
There are no changes to Intel’s launch plans, timing, or product readiness. We are excited about the new product announcements and momentum we have in store, including significant announcements this fall. We’ll share more details on our next-gen desktop processor products, codenamed Arrow Lake, later this year.

The Arrow Lake series will see a staggered launch, with desktop chips expected to hit shelves around October and mobile updates to arrive around CES 2025 in January. Intel has not even confirmed that the Arrow Lake chips will be part of the Core Ultra 200 lineup, nor did the company allow board partners to name their Z890 motherboards at Computex, which was a strange decision to say the least.
In fall of 2024, Intel is expected to face a second wave of Zen 5 processors, also known as Ryzen 9000X3D, which are rumored to launch between Q3/Q4 and new AM5 motherboards in the 800-series. The initial lineup from Intel will reportedly focus on the so-called K-Series, which are 125W TDP models for enthusiasts. The remaining SKUs, including 65W and 35W models, are expected to launch in 2025.
