Black Myth: Wukong Benchmark Tool is now available for free, supports DLSS, FSR and XeSS

You can now test your PC before purchasing Black Myth: Wukong

Benchmark is free to download through Steam.

Game Science has released a benchmark tool for the upcoming game “Black Myth: Wukong,” set to launch next week. The benchmark tool is available free of charge for gamers who want to test whether their systems can run the game at the desired performance level.

The developers have made it clear that the benchmark is not fully representative of the final game’s performance. The benchmark primarily consists of a flyby through a forest, lacking any combat scenes, which are a key element of the game. In terms of graphics options, users can enable full path tracing, DLSS, XeSS, and FSR upscaling, as well as Frame Generation for FSR and DLSS.

The benchmark tool isn’t just for gamers; developers will also collect data to optimize the game and address any potential hardware compatibility issues before launch. Users must agree to share their data to use the benchmark. The tool is 6.7 GB in size and starts with shader compilation before beginning the test.

The developers recommend at least a GTX 1060 or RX 580 graphics card to run the game at minimum settings with a 1080p resolution. For full ray tracing, one will need at least an RTX 3060 for 1080p on low settings, and up to an RTX 4080 SUPER for 4K on Ultra settings.

“Black Myth: Wukong” is set to be released on August 20 on PS5, Steam, Epic Games Store, and WeGame. The developers have also released a final trailer based on the PC version:
