NVIDIA RTX 2000 ADA features AD107 GPU, 16GB VRAM and no power connector
The family of GeForce RTX series grows.
The new RTX 2000E ADA is a variant of the existing RTX 2000 ADA model, not a successor or replacement within the current generation. While both models share nearly identical specifications, there are some key differences.
The most significant change is the single-slot design of the RTX 2000E ADA, compared to the dual-slot design of the RTX 2000 ADA. Both cards have a low-profile design and do not require power connectors. However, the RTX 2000E ADA features a lower TDP of 50W , 20W less than its counterpart, likely due to the thermal limitations of its less capable cooling system.

The RTX 2000E ADA is powered by the AD107 GPU with 2,816 CUDA cores , paired with 16GB of GDDR6 ECC memory on a 128-bit bus. Although the bandwidth isn’t the strongest feature of this model, the large memory capacity is useful for users working with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI models.

Designed with a single fan, this card occupies one motherboard slot, making it easier to set up multiple cards in a cluster. However, users should ensure their motherboard can provide the necessary power through the PCIe 4.0 connector, as the card does not have an external power connector.
The RTX 2000E ADA is equipped with four Mini-DisplayPort 1.4a outputs, supporting up to 4K resolution at 120Hz on all ports simultaneously. The new SKU was not yet listed by NVIDIA, but it had appeared on PNY website.
