The Z890 series from ASRock will offer plenty of options. The company has slightly changed its naming conventions and added several models to its most iconic brand, the Taichi. For those interested in ASRock’s LGA-1851-based motherboards with Intel’s Z890 chipset, it’s important to note that the AQUA and OCF series will now be part of the Taichi lineup. Both are considered niche products for overclocking and enthusiasts. Overall, four Taichi motherboards with the Z890 chipset are planned.

ASRock is also preparing the Nova series, which will include Wi-Fi support. This series will be available in either ATX or Mini-ITX versions. Additionally, the company is expected to launch Steel Legend, LiveMixer, Riptide, and Lightning motherboards. The Lightning series will also be available in Micro-ATX form factor, making it the only such board in the entire Z890 lineup. ASRock is also developing three PRO RS motherboards, with optional WiFi support and a white color scheme.

The full list of ASRock’s Z890 and X870 motherboards was posted today by @momomo_us:

The leaked lists also mention X870E and X870 motherboards. Here, it is much easier to distinguish between high-end and mainstream motherboards, as the E-Xtreme variant is only planned for the Taichi and Nova series. Meanwhile, Steel Legend, Riptide, and Pro are all non-Extreme variants.

Notably absent from both lists are sub-890/870 motherboards. It appears that the mid-range segment won’t be immediately available, at least not from ASRock.

The next-gen motherboard lineup is expected to launch next month for AMD, while the Intel series will likely be released alongside the Core Ultra 200K launch, which has not yet been confirmed.
