ZOTAC launches thirteenth RTX 4070 model, with blower-style cooler

Perhaps the least desired design by gamers.

The blower-style RTX 4070 graphics card is not a new concept; in fact, we already have two such models from competitors (pictured below). The ZOTAC RTX 4070 doesn’t stand out in this crowd—there’s no factory overclocking, no non-standard power connectors, or even unique display connectors. The ZOTAC Blower is simply the company filling a gap in its lineup.

The RTX 4070 Blower is equipped with 5888 CUDA cores and 12GB of GDDR6X memory (this is not the non-X model that we’re still awaiting). The card is powered by one 8-pin power connector, positioned as on any RTX 4070 model. In that sense, the card is not aimed at cluster installations or what we now call AI acceleration.

The RTX 4070 Blower from ZOTAC is officially positioned as a gaming GPU, with a specific focus on Small Form Factor (SFF) gaming PCs. It also aligns with NVIDIA’s SFF-Ready program, although it’s worth noting that even larger 2.5-slot cards can meet the criteria for this category.

ZOTAC has confirmed that the RTX 4070 Blower is a 200W model and supports overclocking via their FireStorm Utility, though they haven’t provided details on the maximum Total Graphics Power (TGP).

As mentioned, this idea is not new, ASUS has already introduced its RTX 4070 Turbo and PNY has RTX 4070 Blower model already available:

Currently, the card is listed by a single retailer in Poland, but no pricing information is available yet.
