GeForce RTX 40 inspired by Black Myth: Wukong
There are several new graphics cards announced today, all to celebrate the launch of the highly popular game.
A total of eight new graphics cards feature designs inspired by the Black Myth: Wukong game. The game, which is now available for purchase, has already surpassed 1 million players according to Steam data. This major launch is backed by leading GPU companies, all of whom are supporting the game with their technologies, including XeSS, FSR, and DLSS.
NVIDIA has certainly encouraged its partners to create unique designs for this launch, resulting in several new graphics card models. While many of these cards are not entirely new and often borrow designs from existing models, each company has crafted custom backplates and packaging for the occasion.
Most of these cards share a common SKU: the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, which features 7168 CUDA cores and 12GB of GDDR6 memory. Additionally, there is one model each of the RTX 4070 TI SUPER and RTX 4080 SUPER.
MANLI GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER 12GB WUKONG EDITION
Starting with Manli, the card is based on the Gallardo design, which is characterized by a greener aesthetic. In contrast, the Wukong Edition features a grayer design with a full black backplate showcasing Sun Wukong.

MSI GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER 12GB GAMING SLIM WUKONG EDITION
The WUKONG Edition of the GAMING X SLIM graphics card has only undergone a cosmetic color change and is the sole card in this lineup without an image of Wukong on the backplate, resulting in a less cluttered design. The boost clock is slightly lower compared to the GAMING X SLIM model, with 2490 MHz versus 2655 MHz. What’s perhaps interesting is that this card marks the 13th RTX 4070 SUPER model from MSI.

INNO3D GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER 12GB iChill X3 WUKONG EDITION
Inno3D has introduced a new graphics card based on its iChill X3 design. For the Chinese market, it is named the Ice Dragon Wukong Edition. This model features a 3-slot design and has a boost clock speed of 2535 MHz.

GAINWARD GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER 12GB SNOW WUKONG EDITION
Gainward is bringing its “Snow” series with a new custom backplate. The card is indeed identical to the original model, there are no changes to the front shroud, while the backplate is entirely new featuring graphics featuring the Monkey King. There’s also a new packaging.
