Xeon W3500 offers up to 60 cores Intel is announcing its new HEDT/Xeon Workstation series featuring a lot more cores than its mainstream platform. Intel has updated its HEDT and Xeon Workstation segment with the Xeon W-2500 and W-3500 series, codenamed "Sapphire Rapids Refresh." These new processors bring increased core counts, higher clock speeds, and adjusted power ratings, while maintaining the same architecture and memory specifications (DDR5-4800 by default) as their predecessors.
