Xiaomi pushes the HDMI 2.1 market with 75-inch QLED TV
Xiaomi MI TV Q1 is a 75-inch TV with a 120Hz QLED panel.

The Full Array Local Dimming technology on this TV has 192 dimming zones. This has increased the maximum contrast up to 10000:1. MI TV Q1 will have a 120Hz panel with 100% NTSC color space and 1.07 billion colors coverage. According to the specs provided by Xiaomi, it will have 1024 color gradations per RGB channel, which means it is a 10-bit display. Xiaomi has confirmed that MI Q1 will have Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG certifications.
For gamers, the MI TV Q1 will have HDMI 2.1 and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), which should be very good news to people who were able to purchase next-gen AMD RDNA2-based consoles. The TV is based on MediaTek MT9611 TV chipset.
MI TV Q1 comes with Android TV 10 operating system on board. Applications such as Netflix or Amazon Prime Video will be preinstalled (the remote will have special buttons for these apps).
Interestingly, the TV has a built-in microphone with up to 3 meters range that will support Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa commands. This ‘feature’ can be disabled physically through a special switch on the bottom of the screen.
Xiaomi MI TV Q1 will launch on March 10th in Europe. The company will offer a limited sale of 30 units at a special price of 999 EUR. The retail price for this TV has been set to 1299 EUR, which is a very good price for such a big QLED TV with HDMI 2.1 support.
