Rivian has adopted popular iPhone features at a strong pace. The company added Live Activity support back in February, while the second-generation R1T and R1S electric vehicles also support Apple’s Car Key platform . The glaring omission, of course, is support for CarPlay, and it doesn’t seem like that will change .

iOS 18 offers a major revamp to Control Center , giving you greater flexibility in customizing the layout and structure of their experience. With the new update, you can now have multiple pages within Control Center, plus support for third-party apps like Rivian.
