It’s important to keep holiday return windows in mind when buying for someone else this holiday season. Luckily, major retailers including Apple, Amazon, and Best Buy have all kicked off their extended holiday return periods:

• Best Buy: Purchases made Nov. 1 through Dec. 31 have an extended return period through Jan. 14, 2025.
• Apple: Products received between November 8, 2024 and December 25, 2024, may be returned through January 8, 2025.
• Amazon: Most items purchased between November 1 and December 31, 2024 can be returned through January 31, 2025. Apple brand products purchased between November 1 and December 31, 2024 can be returned through January 15, 2025.

One thing to keep in mind if you’re buying from Best Buy this holiday season . It starts at $49.99 and includes discounts on popular products, such as Mac and iPad purchases. You can probably make back that $49.99 with savings a single purchase. You also get free two-day shipping and even longer return periods.
