Space Black has been the hot new Apple color lately, coming to products like the and . However, Apple never released Space Black for the new , and stuck to just silver. Luckily, one Apple enthusiast decided to paint his in black, and it looks pretty good…

Apple enthusiast and collector posted a number of photos (and ) of his hydro-dipping process of turning a silver into a Space Black-like colorway. This process required him to tear down the whole machine to just the bare aluminum chassis, and then dipping the chassis underwater. After a couple hours, the finish started to develop, and the is incredible.

He also created a , which looks great as well. He also that he’d black out anyones Mac Studio for $100, which seems like a decent price.
