AMD Nashira Point is Navi 21?

A known mobile industry leaker Roland Quandt (WinFuture) has shared a list of possible codenames for AMD’s graphics processor series called “Nashira”.

This is actually not the first time we are seeing a codename “Nashira”. It was first spotted back in January , when Nashira Point A0 has appeared in a filing to USB-IF organization, indicating that the product may offer USB Type-C connection.

A few weeks later a Nashira Summit has suddenly appeared on Ashes of the Singularity benchmark website. Unfortunately, neither leak has provided information as to the nature and possible use for the new Nashira series.

According to Roland Quant, the list is actually a lot longer. The Nashira Point GPU would be available in three variants XTX, XT, and XL, all labeled as gaming consumer graphics cards. The GLXTA and GLXL are also mentioned, which are likely Raden Pro variants. A third variant called Nashira Creek XM might be a mobile product.

Thus we have Nashira Summit, Nashira Point, and now Nashira Creek. They may all refer to the same GPU or a family of GPUs. It was previously rumored that it might be a codename for future RDNA3 based MCM design, however, nothing has so far suggested that this might actually be true.

Another theory is that Nashira is simply a different codename for Navi 21, which also appears in such variants.

Roland also confirmed that many of these new GPUs are indeed labeled as ‘consumer gaming’ processors. He did not provide the source of this information, though:
