Gigabyte launches their Aorus range of 4K 120+ Hz HDMI 2.1 HDR monitors - Including an OLED model

Gigabyte's entering the 4K era in full force, launching three new 120Hz+ 4K Pro Gaming monitors under their Aorus brand. All three of these monitors support HDMI 2.1 connectivity, and all three of these 4K monitors are HDR certified.

With 32-inch, 43-inch and 48-inch sizes, Gigabyte's Aorus 4K Pro Gaming range is designed to deliver high refresh rate 4K gaming in whatever form factor you desire. These screens are designed for modern gaming PCs and the latest consoles, offering high refresh rates, low response times and a full 10-bit colour depth.

Starting with the Aorus 4K Pro Gaming FI32U monitor, we have a 144Hz 4K monitor that sports a VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified Super Speed IPS panel, offering gamers 0.5ms response times and a compelling 32-inch screen size. 32-inches is a great size for a 4K monitor, being small enough to act as a PC display without fully entering into living room Television sizes. 32 inches is also large enough to use a 4k monitor without Windows scaling, which is another perk.

With the FV43U, we have a 144Hz HDMI 2.1 DisplayHDR 1000 monitor with a 1ms response time, offering users a larger screen size and what we believe is a high-quality VA panel (FV for VA).

On the high-end, we have the FO48U (FO for OLED), an OLED 4K monitor with a 48-inch screen size and a 120Hz maximum refresh rate. This screen will offer higher contrast ratios than Gigabyte's smaller Aorus 4K Pro Gaming monitors and a  lower 120Hz maximum refresh rate.

These monitors will carry AORUS's tactical DNA, offering users built-in exclusive AORUS tactical functions such as;  Black Equalizer, Aim Stabilizer, Active Noise Cancelling, and other in-game enhancements that help deliver next-level gameplay. These all-new AORUS gaming monitors features a super-wide 99% Adobe RGB / 150% sRGB colour gamut with 10-bit colour depth, promising more colours and a more vibrant & immersive visual experience.

If it doesn't have a 100% srgb mode colors are going to look super saturated

Other than that it's pretty impressive. They mananged all these specs on different panels and panel types. I am curious to know how many 2.1 ports and pricing. GB monitors are good value for money options with better performance at the price imo so these will be interesting to follow. Quote
