Apple just wrapped up a big week for new product launches , but there’s more still ahead. Two big Apple products are expected to launch this spring. Here’s what’s coming.

The original launched almost four years ago, in early 2021. Since then, Apple has made various privacy improvements and feature upgrades via software, but there’s never been a proper hardware update.

Now, per multiple , the company looks ready to launch AirTag 2 this spring—likely in May or June .

AirTag 2 will reportedly bring three main improvements:

• increased range
• new wireless chip
• and upgraded privacy

The specifics of how these three changes will lead to feature improvements isn’t entirely clear. But one example of a higher privacy emphasis, for example, is that Apple will make the speaker harder to remove . This should make the device much harder to misuse for stalking.

The 2025 product I’m personally most hyped for is Apple’s new ‘HomePad’ smart display.

Originally planned for March, the latest reporting says HomePad is likely to get a launch in April or later .

HomePad is expected to join Apple TV 4K and HomePod as a brand new category in Apple’s Home device lineup, running a new homeOS software platform.

At its core, homeOS will combine features like widgets, Home app controls, and native apps like Photos, Music, and Notes to provide convenient tools all throughout your home .

There are also some big Siri powers expected with the HomePad, but since Apple now says those have been delayed , it may launch HomePad first then add the new features later on.

Between the iPhone 16e , and Mac Studio , the , and the , Apple has had a big start to the year.

But with AirTag 2 and ‘HomePad’ up next, the company can round out the spring with a strong lineup before its busiest season hits: the fall arrival of iPhone 17 Air , Apple Watch Ultra 3 , AirPods Pro 3 , and more .
