Hong Kong firefighters rescue worker stranded mid-air on scaffolding

Hong Kong firefighters rescued a worker stranded mid-air on scaffolding at a residential estate after he was struck by falling bamboo on Monday.

The incident occurred near the roof of Lotus Mansion on Taikoo Wan Road in Taikoo Shing at around 4pm.

According to police, the worker was hit by falling bamboo while he was working on the scaffolding, causing him to slip and become trapped.

He was sent to hospital at around 5pm.
