
The Qt 6.9 toolkit delivers on various performance improvements, better emoji rendering, greater visualizations support within Qt Graphs, SVG CSS animations support, transparency handling improvements, network integration improvements, and a variety of other subtle improvements throughout the wide-reaching toolkit.
On the Wayland side for Linux users there is xdg-toplevel-icon-v1 protocol support in Qt 6.9. Qt 6.9 on Wayland will also no longer destroy the underlying Wayland surface of a window when it is hidden.
